Stormers Add Big League Vet
April 17, 2024 - The Lancaster Stormers have signed Major League veteran James Hoyt, a right-handed pitcher, to a contract for the 2024 season, it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. By signing Hoyt, the Stormers now have 15 pitchers, but two of them, Oscar De La Cruz, the 2022 Championship Series MVP, and Junior Mieses have had their arrival delayed. Hoyt, 37, reached the big leagues with the Houston Astros in 2016 and spent a portion of six years at the top level with Houston, Cleveland, Miami and the Los Angeles Angel... High Point Rockers Offering Opening Week Ticket Special
April 16, 2024 - HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point Rockers are offering a special ticket deal for Opening Day on Tuesday, April 30 at Truist Point as well as the entire home opening series. April 16, 2024 - The Lancaster Stormers have signed their final two players to head into spring training as catcher Jack Conley and former San Francisco Giants left-hander Caleb Baragar have inked contracts, it was announced today by manager Ross Peeples. In addition, the Stormers have brought catcher Antonio Barranca, a York native, into camp on a tryout waiver.
